New Soaps

I'm going to be bringing some new soaps to the August Farmers Market. I have been frequently asked for soaps without fragrance for people with sensitive skins so I have made several different soaps to give customers a choice of ultra mild soaps. Castille soap is made from 100% Olive oil and makes one of the most gentle soaps available but in this hard water area pure olive oil soap gives only thin lather. Adding a little coconut and castor oil improves the lather beautifully and castor oil was traditionaly believed to be a healing oil. The soap produced from these three ingredients is pale cream, beautifully smooth and very gentle. It smells faintly of the oils it is made from.
Unlike most of my soap which have a cure time of 4 -6 weeks before going on sale, my "Nearly Castille" soap is cured for a minimum of 12 weeks resulting in a truly superior bar of soap.
And for the many customers who want a kind and gentle soap with a little bit of fragrance I have a similar soap made with olive oil, coconut oil and sweet almond oil, fragranced with Lavender and Palmarosa essential oils.
Do try these if you need the most gentle and moisturising soap I make.
Still awaiting the end of cure time is a "nearly castille" made with goats milk from Lowna Dairy which will be extra creamy. It should be ready in time for christmas!
